"Since 1987, Sue Nunn
has been focusing on figurative wood carving. Her images are often
metaphorical with search for justice, peace and compassion being common
themes.
Her commissions, residencies and exhibitions include 2000 Chiddingly
Millennium Carving; 1997 Sculpture for All, Open Access Project, Lewes,
Sussex; 1997 Brooklands School Arts Week, Redhill, Surrey; 1999 Big
Heads at Burstows, Brighton; 1998 The Secret Garden, Brighton Festival.
Her prizes and awards include the Oppenheimer Downes Memorial Trust
Award, to be sited throughout the summer at Stanmer Park, Brighton."
